There are multiple ways to fund your studies. Below you will find information on specific scholarships and grants that you can apply.

Erasmus+ Grants

(2 years, cover fees and living and travel expenses)

Programme Countries EU : 35,000 €*

Partner Countries Non EU: 42,000 €*

*This amount will vary depending on the country of origin of the student (if origin > 4.000 km from Girona)

Consortium Grant

Grant given by the consortium, waiving the fees at each of the 3 universities for a EU student (9000 Eur).

The programme is also open to candidates who do not request financial support through Erasmus+ Programme.

Additional grants may be awarded covering for mobility and accommodation to self-funding students in the different universities of the consortium. E-mail for more information.

Visiting scholars:

Scholars (visiting professors) can apply for scholarships to teach and give seminars in the MAIA Master. Minimum stay is 2 weeks to 3 months.

The documentation required is as follows:

  • Letter of application outlining rationale for wanting to be a visiting scholar  in the program.  The applicant should emphasize the field (research, teaching or both) he would like to be involved in and the activities he/she is planning to deliver.
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Proof of competency in English for teaching purposes
  • A copy of a valid ID document and passport
