The MAIA programme is open to candidates who do not request financial support. Students are responsible of paying for they own the fees and all costs derived from their participation in the master (e.g. accommodation, transportation, subsistence, etc.).
We encourage the applicants to to look for any sponsoring or available scholarships in their country of origin be able to carry the compulsori mobility of the programme.
– Consortium grant: the best academic curriculum from either France, Italy or Spain student will be awarded with a free waiver grant (valued as 9,000€).
– In the Université of Bourgogne, you can apply for the Burgundy Regional Council grant for international mobility to Italy or Spain, and during your master thesis internship (if spent out of France). In some cases, this mobility may be complemented with other sources of funding.

– In the Università degli studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale, you can apply for the LazioDisco scholarship. The scholarship covers tuition fees at UniCas and living expenses.
– In the Universitat de Girona, you can apply for the grant UdG – Banco de Santander International Modality. The scholarship covers tuition fees at the UdG.
– Master thesis: depending on the place where you are doing the master thesis you may receive a grant / salary. For instance, if staying in Bourgogne or any other research lab in France, you will receive a traineeship stipend while some companies and research labs may help you economically.
– Embassadors: University of Girona will advertise 2 grants for students acting as Embassadors for the MAIA (develop tasks of improving the visibility of the MAIA in social networks and responsible of social activities and support to students).
Although students from previous promotions have obtained those grants in the past, it should be noted that none of those can be 100% guaranteed for prospective students, and will ultimately depend on the availability of funding institutions.
Erasmus+ Master Degree Loans are EU-guaranteed loans with favourable pay-back terms that can help you finance a Master course in an Erasmus+ Programme country.
