Erasmus + Grants

The EMJMD scholarships are including student participation costs (including the tuition fees, full insurance coverage and any other mandatory costs related to student participation in the course), a contribution to student travel and installation cost and a subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the EMJMD study programme.

*This amount will vary depending on the country of origin of the student (if origin > 4.000 km from Girona)
Caution: Geographical balance is taking into account, i.e. no more than 3 candidates with the same nationality can be awarded an EMJMD scholarship during the same intake.

Contribution to subsistence costs

Contribution to subsistence costs must not be given to:
- Programme and Partner country students for the EMJMD periods (study, research, placement, thesis preparation) spent in their country of residence.
- Partner country students for the EMJMD periods exceeding 3 months spent in any Partner country.

Consortium Grant

 

Grant given by the consortium, waiving the fees at each of the 3 universities for a French, Italian, or Spanish student (9000 Eur).

Self-funded Students

 

 The programme is also open to candidates who do not request financial support. Self-funded students are responsible of paying for they own the fees and all costs derived from their participation in the master (e.g. accommodation, transportation, subsistence, etc.).
We recommend the applicants to search early on for any sponsoring or external funding source in their home country to be able to carry their mobility project.

Partner or Program Students

*Partner Country = Students who don’t have the nationality of one of the member states of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Turkey, and United Kingdom) are considered as students from Partner countries.
Partner Country students who are not residents nor have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) for more than a total of 12 months over the last 5 years in any Programme Country are considered as Partner Country students. The 5-year reference period for this 12-months rules is calculated backwards as from the submission deadline of applying for the EMJMD scholarship.
**Programme Country = Students who have the nationality of one of those states are considered as students from Programme countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Serbia, Turkey, and United Kingdom.
Warning! Students with a double nationality must specify the nationality under which they submit their scholarship application. No change will be possible after the submission of the application.
